Hey all, new here and we took our Roo out for the first real outing. Trip was 5 days with no sewer connection, but I brought a water tote for the gray water.
Here's the dilemma I want to avoid for future trips but am unable to find a off the shelf solution.
Camper was backed in to an inclined spot which put the tank release gate about 6" off the ground once camper was leveled out. In order for the the waste tote to be down hill from this point, i had to use my 15' RhinoFlex + a 10' extension to get gravity to do the work. The problem I had was that the elbow on the Rhinoflex is the 4-n-1 with threads. The barker tote has the bayonet lug fitting.
What, if any, adapter can I use to make this connection? Basically, for this trip, i used the kids to put their foot on the elbow to hold in tote while grey tank was being emptied, but this is not ideal.
As of right now, i'm thinking to purchase another 4-n-1 thread adapter and cut and glue to bayonet fitting, but was wondering if someone else has already invented this wheel.
Can you post a picture of the different ends? I'm having a hard time seeing it in my head.

Can you use a regular 1/2 or 5/8 hose with the 4" caps that have the hose fitting on them? I have done this & it works well.

Yes Papa GLS has the plan Camco part# 39452 Sewer Cap and Camco part# 39111 Gray water drain adapter and run a Garden hose between! GRAY Water ONLY! Youroo!! No Rhino Needed!
Very interesting solution guys! I've had the same problem using the clear elbow with my Barker sewer tote. Valterra makes the same hose fitting. Is either one better than the other? Do you keep a dedicated, short hose on board for this?

Yes on dedicated hose; spray painted it black so as not to get it mixed up with others. Have 2, one about 2' & 1 about 5'. You can always use longer ones.
