Shamrock 21ss mods

Most of our camping is boon docking or camping in National Forest or State campgrounds with no hookups. The first photo shows the water pump I installed so I didn't need to hold the water jug until it gravity drains into our FW tank.

The under the seat storage W/drawer was a problem because there was nothing to keep the things stored there from pushing out the drawer while traveling. I did a down and dirty fix with existing plywood but it works.

After going over gravel/dirt roads the speaker above the sink pulled the screws holding it and fell down on the counter. The reason is because the speaker is taller than the space it was fitted into so I made a spacer and reinstalled it, hopefully it will stay put now.

Unfortunately I've been on this Forum for a long time and have never seen any evidence of a Rockwood or Flagstaff rep monitoring this section.
Nor any FR employees period.

Kenny, I specifically stated Rockwood and Flagstaff reps and them not monitoring the Roo/Shamrock hybrid sub-forum, which is where this thread is located. Not in any General section.

Brian is definitely a rare one with his dedication to the Dynamax section.

But he and Josh Cavity are the ONLY FR employees who are involved that much and they pretty much stick just to their brand.

Wow, I didn't mean to stir up so much controversy and the post was not meant to criticize Forest River. I posted my mods in the hope that they might help someone with similar problems or spark their creativity to come up with a better solution.

Love the pump Mod. It is a PITA filling the fresh water tanks with jugs. Very clever.

When we had our ROO as well as other "Dinette Units" with under seating Drawers,I totally Removed them, slides and all! Used the Drawer front as a Door and Opened up a "Whole Lot of Additional Storage space"! As your Pic. shows simply lift the seat cushions and board for "Total Access"! Youroo!!

Here is another mod I made. The Rio/Shamrock 21ss has somewhere between zero and none for counter space if you want to use the sink. I got a piece of plastic cutting board from a plastic shop and had them cut it to the outside dimensions and then cut out the notch for the faucet so the board could not move while driving. It is easy to remove the black sink cover with the new cutting board installed so you can have one side of the sink and still have a little counter space.

Bacchus, I moded our IKSS so I could add water to the fresh water tank by just adding a two way valve in the line for the water pump. I just turn the factory installed valve for adding antifreeze when winterizing like you would to winterize and turn my added two way valve to the other position and use a short piece of hose hooked up to the antifreeze inlet to pump water right into the fresh water tank with the original pump.
