Shamrock 23ws
We are about to get this model. The brochure list a battery disconnect switch as standard. The salesperson cannot find it on the unit and I am not close enough to just run over there and look for myself.
Where is the battery disconnect located?

Have the salesman kneel down at the A frame and look under the driver side propane tank. Mine is mounted there facing backwards towards the battery. Has a bright red handle. I have a different Shamrock model, but I imagine its in the same spot.

She has already looked all over the camper and can't find it. Maybe the service guys can find it.

Don't know your model but on my 23ikss, it's inside the door on the left. Chrome push-pull knob down low.

Hum, that was what I was afraid of, not a standard location. I was hoping it was in the control panel with the toggle switches for the water pump and awning controls......

I have a roo 23ss and it is also under the tongue. My salesman also told me it didn't have one. I found it once I got it home.

They quoted me a price to install one as I would like to have one. it was not a whole lot of $$, but if it is supposed to be standard......and if it is already on the camper, I would not want to pay for a second one no matter how inexpensive it is.
Once this is settled, I should be getting a date for the PDI. I am looking forward to getting this camper home and getting it set up. Kind of sad to see the pop-up go but here comes Escape II.
Gals of Escape

I just got a new camper the same as yours, when you get yours, get a spray can of wd40 or some type of lock oil and lube your door latch, and all your locks, they were dry and cranky on mine, now they work smooth and easy after getting sprayed.

Thanks Mainframe - stiff locks would not be surprising at all.

It's fun to be in a forum and find out things you don't know about..... Nobody told me about a kill switch for the battery........
After reading all these posts, I went outside and found the kill switch under the propane tanks......Thanks for posting this thread !
