The forums need a "like" button, so I can agree without replying. :-)

Iowa winters, so same here.

We'll see how the cover I bought fares over the winter season, too.

I'm a little worried...I dropped off my Rocky at the dealer last Wednesday to get my awning replaced and they are also installing a smaller awning over my slide out.

But a huge arctic blast will be hitting us this week in Colorado so I'll have to make sure the roads aren't icy when I go pick it up. (I had, originally, hoped for another warm week so I can get Rocky all waxed but I'll have to wait for warmer weather.)

I purchased a 6-inch variable speed polisher (Porter-Cable) and have been practicing by waxing our cars...I can't believe how fast you can apply wax with that thing!

My RV is pretty tall but I have a big 24-foot (4-section) ladder I can set up as scaffolding to easily get up to the top to wax....I'll just have to pick up a couple 2x6 boards to stand on.

Hi Turbo-Swiss Valley has always been one of those parks I have been meaning to try out for a quick local place to camp.

Otherwise, if you don't mind the train, Grant River Recreation is a nice facility, too.
