IMHO, ditch the whole 'stock' shower head/hose and buy a Oxygenics (You can search the forum to read the praises this shower gets)

Oh and you might want one of these too (will allow you to boost the PSI up to 50-55 for that satisfying shower feeling )

Never seen one that would boost the psi, all I've seen would only lower the pressure.

To the OP, there is usually a ss disc with a hole in it at one end of the hose that needs to be discarded.

Had one of those and the fitting came out and MFG would not send me a new one after paying like $55 at CW. I am fine with my 55psi on my current regulator...

Thanks OC will have to pull the whole thing apart if not I may get a new shower head bc hose on factory one is horrible will not bend. I had a braided line in my Shasta it was so much better

Oxygenics showerheads are awesome. Well worth the cost.

My restrictor was where the hose threads on the base. I took it out, drilled the hole bigger and have plenty of water flow. We don't dry camp so water usage is not a concern.

I have an oxygenics shower head and it was great. Then I removed the restrictors both from the head and the shower faucet assembly and now it is AWESOMER..hahaha. OP, mine was right inside the shower faucet assembly. I removed the shower hose and there it sat. I took the one out of the outside shower assembly too. What a difference it made there! That one was just pathetic, so I switched the inside shower head and put it on the outside shower hose...much better!

Good to know guys tomorrow is the tears own before my long 2 week trip, I leave my Grey tank open during showers and without a water Restrictor, it should be a much better shower experience so thank you all.

Next upgrade is the Oxi shower head
