Side to side trailer leveling: 2x8 boards or scissor leveling jack?

Instead of backing up my Roo21RS on to "leveling" boards( ie. 2x8 s) would it be advisable to use a scissor jack under the "low" side to raise the trailer to level. Thinking about this productBAL 24002D 24" Deluxe Leveling Scissors Jack
BAL R.V. Products Group (21). Any advice on frame location with regard to where to place the jack?

don't see a link to what you're talking about. the factory jacks are 'stabilizing' jacks -they are not strong enough to support the weight of the TT - the tires/axles do that, hence the need to drive onto leveling boards or 'lego blocks'.

Not to mention trailer flex trying to level with jacks.

Use boards or lynks levers such as what I use.
Light weight and easy to store.
Get three bags.

I bought the Andersen Hitch two years ago and it has been great. Now it looks like I will be buying the Andersen leveling system. Level and chock in one easy step, can't wait to try it. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Jim, DON'T use any such jack on an ultralight trailer, like the Roo!!

the frames are not strong enough for such usage and you'll possible tweak or bend the frame.
that's why every ultralight trailer has instructions NOT use use the stablizer jacks for leveling.

level the wheels, not the frame. use Lynx or boards.

X2 - only way to go - each block is @ 1/2 in so you can be pretty precise. They are also good for under your stab jacks when you are not on a concrete pad

I use these:

OK I guess I need to watch the video...I don't get how the anderson levelers work in "one step"
For us, we get on site, look at the hitch level, pull out the appropriate blocks, put 1 in between our wheels and 2 on rear wheel, back up a foot, insert another block between tires, back up another foot, DONE!
Takes about 3 min to level. This is the hitch level we use:

I covered the top & bottom of the leveling blocks and bolted them to the jack pads to keep from breaking them on gravel. Have since painted them black.

I think I hear your momma calling you. I wonder how you did it?

p.s. You're just too lazy and too tight to buy a can of paint and paint them!

I have the Anderson levelers and they work great. My daughter is in charge of putting them down when we park takes just a few minutes to get leveled from side to side.

They look easy to level but do you consider the chocks sufficient to keep the trailer from moving?
