I wouldn't worry to much about a tp holder. When we did our walk through the tp holder was not installed. So the salesman called a worker over. He told him to install it. So the guy asked my wife where do you want it. She said so it's not in the way. The next thing I see is this guy sitting on the head. He was reaching his hand out and stuff. At the end he asked my wife and said how about here. He then showed her it was in reach and out of the way. She said fine. He just screwed it into the wall. No anchors or nothing, been there for over 2 years without any problems. True Story @ the FR dealer.....

In my old 5th wheel I made a board out of mdf, painted it white and the used PL Premium to attach it to the wall holding it in place with masking tape till the glue dried and then mounted the TP holder to that. Hasn't come off in 11 years of use. If I have to mount the holder in our Columbus ( will be picking it up April 21st ) I'll b using metal butterfly anchors.

Enough "wood" under the microwave but now worried it was molding I was and that maybe the microwave sits lower in the space then I thought. When I screwed in it did not sound to me like the screws hit metal/the microwave but I'm worried maybe they did and damaged it! Should I be?

I just had my microwave out to install a 12v LED light over the sink. The microwave actually sits a full inch above the cabinet bottom on a separate piece of wood, so you can sleep soundly.

We used pop toggles that are made for thin drywall, they hold 50lbs. Not sure, I need that much, but they work great for the TT walls, We used them for the TP holder, hand towel holder and we hung a hanging shoe holder on the back bathroom wall to hold everything. And it holes it up just fine with everything in there.
You have to drill a hole, use a drill stop so you dont go though the wall. Then fold it so its bent in half in the center, insert in the hole, use the popping pin that comes with it, then screw in your TP holder.

Where did you buy these?

For towels, try the 3M Command hooks. They work great. The bigger ones hold up to 5 lbs., more than enough for wet bath towels. The added benefit is they can come off easily, they're reusable, and no holes in the wall.

As an alternative, consider a over the bathroom door towel rack. It's what we use and we love it!

We too have a floor stand tp holder. It can be moved to accomadate left and right handed folks by simply moving. When traveling, a simple rubber band keeps the roll rolled up. And laying the stand over before leaving keeps it pretty much where you left it. Plus, it also lessens the stress about what exactly is behind where you're planning on drilling.

I did what brother les did. I screwed it to the inside door of the bathroom cabinet. I leveled and centered the TP holder then used a small drill bit with a little tape on the bit to reference depth of the screw, then applied the screws. Worked well. Didn't bother with the towel rack added upper door hangers for towel racks. With two small boys, it's gonna rip out of the wall!
