Will a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the trailer package tow a Roo 233s?

All comes down to motor? many online resources that will list tow ratings based on 4x4 vs 4x2 motor size bed length etc. I always try to error on caution and leave a few pounds extra and not push.

Had a 99 with 4.8 3.73 rear end. Had no problems with my 2006 23b.

Here's your owners manual:

https://assets.gm.com/manuals/chevro..._%20owners.pdf

Look at the table that starts on page 452. Find YOUR Silverado and you'll know what your tow capacity is. Then look at the payload sticker on your drivers doorframe and you'll see your payload. Your payload has to cover any passengers, any "stuff," the weight of any weight distributing hitch (and you should have one) and the tongue weight of the trailer. Ignore any "dry weights" or tongue weights based on dry weight - they're for suckers. Look on the left side of the Roo and you'll find a sticker with the GVWR. Use that for the Roo weight. Use 15% of that for the tongue weight.

And remember - almost every TV runs out of payload before it gets to towing capacity.

You should have no problem at all even if you have the 3.42 gears, use the Tow mode and pull it out of OD if you notice it hunting gears.
Our 05 does great.

I tow a 23IKSS with a 5.3 and 3.42 rear without any issues.
