They are not a big deal, because most of the time they come loose and fall to the floor and in some cases they will damage cabinets and furniture, but they can be used for other things for camping or just around the house.....

Thanks everyone! I will ask my dealer for it and I like the idea about putting something over the switch when it is in place! Cheers

Did not get one with our trailer. Had the dealer check with Rockwood and they said it was not supplied/necessary with our unit. Have had no problem with slide movement.

Um... I'm gonna call bull**** on Rockwood telling that to your dealer. I'd bet that your dealer doesn't want to deal with getting you the part.

Call Forest River directly and see what they say.

Does anyone have a picture of what these things look like? Do they go inside our outside the camper. I know I used to worry about the slide a lot on our old popup -- those whimpy locking latches did nothing to inspire confidence that your camper wouldn't expand while tooling down the highway...

Thanks VERY much for posting the picture. We did not get anything that looks remotely like that on our 2013 233S... Time to shoot an email off to the dealer.

So now that I know what they look like, where to they go? I'm guessing that it gets propped between the slide and the outside wall?

I believe its on top of the slide in the middle (mine has a little red sticker saying where to put it). The side might work, too, but I've heard of it falling down in transit.

Yes, they go on top of the slide.
But there should be stickers on the wall as triguy said. You can't just put it anywhere, as it has to push where there is support in the wall.
If yours does not have the stickers on the wall above the slide, it may never have been designed with the slide locks in mind.
Yet another cost-cutting measure?
