slide out adjustment

hellooooooo,

does anyone know the procedure for adjusting the slide out on a 2009 Roo 23SS? the front top of mine does not come up against the trailer. the bottom corners and the top rear corner have about 1/2" gap when slide out is all the way in. the top front corner has 1-5/8" gap.

I don't know if this site will help you or not. Won't hurt to check it out. NorminN.B.

It would certainly help to know who made your frame and whether you have an electric motor or hydraulic slide mechanism.

Choices so far for manufacturer are:

Lippert; Dexter; or Norco. There may be others. Each slide is different and have different adjustment procedures.

I am concerned about how it got out of adjustment.
Did you have a mishap while closing or opening it?
Could be something is bent.

While the actuator is a Saginaw product, they did not make your slide; just the actuator.

Look around the frame for a manufacturers name plate.
Perhaps near where your VIN is stamped into the steel.
We can go from there.

Oh, BTW "Hellooooo" on every post is annoying once.
Twice is over the top.

Lou,
i looked all around the slide out box itself, the trailer frame and on the mechanism, but i didn't find any numbers or logos. i googled the three manufactures you listed. mine does not look like any of them. maybe i can get some pictures and post them if you think that will help.

thanks,

jp

At this point I would email Forest River (or your dealer) with the VIN from your registration and ask them who made your frame and the slide in question.

From there we can get the manual for your slide.
