Slide out Problem?

So, I went to get our Roo ready for next weekend's camping trip. It's been sitting since last summer. I opened the slide out. No issues. But, when I was walking around closing up the little doors, I noticed this plastic part had ripped on the slide out! I don't think it was like that before. Again, I noticed nothing out of the ordinary when I opened the slide out. I'm super cautious because it kinda scares me that something is going to happen (argh - worst fears realized) What do I need to do? Can I close the slideout?

You could take you photo over to your dealer and ask them what to do.

Did you get the part that ripped off out from under the slide?
That plastic piece is a unsealed corner cover, that is held in place with the screw track you see.
You will need to find out what ripped it off (staple, screw or from sitting, a goob of sealant)
You will need a new corner cover and some butyl tape for the repair. The only PITA will be the screw that is behind the slide seal but you can reach that last screw from the inside with the slide brought in a bit.
Also make sure you slide box is centered in the hole, it might be binding against the wall on that side?

I thought the plastic was all crinkled up. I will have to go and look to see if the piece is stuck somewhere. I may take the pic to a repair shop in town and see what they think. We purchased it (barely) used almost 2 years ago. and don't have a warranty
