Slide out question

I have a 2014 shamrock 23ikss. Tonight when going out to winterize the trailer (yes we live in Texas and this is the first time we really needed to) but I have slid out the slide outs in a month or so. When i pushed the button for the large slide it started going out slowly with the normal sound of the popping from the seals but then the whole trailer shook as it seemed like it had gotten stuck or something. It then continued on out like normal. Is this normal or should I have it looked at?

I would spray dry lube on the gears first, then try running it in and out a few times, sounds like it might of stuck on you. But NO that is not normal. Should run smooth in and out. Also lube that top seal it shouldn't have to pull away from it.

the slide seals on my 23SS's slide stuck to the side of the trailer, for the first year, due to sap when camping in wooded areas. i actually had to use a butter knife to break the adhesion.
got a slidetopper after that first year and have never had sticky seals again.

did the slide stick for awhile before it opened up?

Make sure that you lube the sides and top of the guide channels as well. You will see where the geared rail is rubbing on the guide channel.

Check around the interior edges of the slide for obstructions
