Snow on Vinyl Bunk ends of a Roo

Hi, We have a 2013 hybrid roo. It is a great little trailer.
I was wondering what the effects of 2-3 inches of snow on the vinyl bunk ends would be.
We've been having a lot of rain and no time to let the ends dry then we got caught with a very early snow fall. The first day (Sat) I was able to brush the snow off but it was too wet to close up and now (Sun) we have been getting a very fine to big fluffy snow. It has been this way since early this morning. Temps ranging from 5- -1 C.
Oh I live in Ontario, 20 min south of the Georgian Bay.

No offence but your picture confirms my lack of desire to live in Canada. And your bunk ends should be fine. If you can brush it off, great. What is the extended forecast? Do you have more of that pretty white s--- coming?

The future forecast for the next week is mostly rain with a possibility of some sun. Thankfully there is no snow.
At this point in time there is no snow on the vinyl and hopefully there will be enough sun to dry it so it can be closed up before the rains come again.

If the sun is not enough to dry the bunks out before closing, I might put in an electric cube heater in the bunk ends to heat the vinyl a little from the inside out to help in the drying process. This would also help in the closing process as cold stiff vinyl can be folded but it is a little tougher.

That is a awesome picture. I have a question for you. I have been curious about winter camping and had worried about line freeze up. Do you have running water and how do you do it?

I just camped in old forge last weekend, 22 degrees at night, hose froze but I used the water in the fresh water tank, everything worked well

We have never winter camped in our Hybrid. We just got caught with an early freaky cold front that brought 10-15 cm of snow over the course of 2 days.
We did winter camp in a canvas tent though. I was damn cold!!

Avoid at all costs. I had this happen on my old Starcraft 176RB during an early freak spring storm overnight and both ends where the tents meet the roof were ripped off the interior. Snow fell into the bunk.

I put an insurance claim and got it fixed. Hopefully you will be fine.
