Anybody know what brand and model is a direct replacement for factory unit?

As a tall guy in a family of females, I have no choice but to lower the seat after use, and I prefer to just let it do most of the work on its own.

Standard air close available at Lowes...house size commode.

You could tell them that spiders like to hide under the seat and you are doing them a favor by leaving it up. (Didn't work for me with DW and 2 daughters, but may for you).

how do you remove the toilet seat from the base? I tried, didn't see how to do it easily, so I gave up. I would love to change ours out.

I don' think you can put a standard toilet seat in a Roo.

Bob, is this really an option? I'd love a regular soft close toilet seat in our 23ikss so I could use it as a seat while shaving my lets without thinking the without thinking its gonna cave in.
