Girl power! I have towed, set up, turn down and winterized our campers. And most of the time successfully! When things go wrong it makes for good stories.

Shabana state park. Not sure of the spelling.

I'm sure you will do just great. I did it in June and had no problems. I have to admit I was a little nervous but everything was fine. husband was out of town so it was me and the dog. Just take your time and have fun.

I solo every time and always been lucky to have someone offering to help. Thank God because I can't seem to get the leveling part down not to mention backing in.
I wander if there is a camping club for singles.

Being mew to the 5th wheel world, I painted a neon green stripe on the hitch and the pin assembly, easier to line up that way

I have solved the problem of backing up to hitch up. No backup camera needed. I bought a Gull Wing tool box for my truck. It works like a site on a rifle. There's a nice indent between the two lids; I line that up with the hitch. I can even judge if the height of the hitch is correct; if I can barely see the bottom of the hitch pin between the lids - I'm good to go. Of course this was all accidental and not by design; but I gotta say, if I'd have known the extra advantages I was gaining from the tool box I wouldn't have complained about the purchase price.

Nomad, you got that right. I wouldn't solo in some of the campgrounds we've visited but this one is nice and open. Kluza, Big Rock FP is an easy 20-30 minute drive west of Winfield. Brand new and run by really nice folks.
