Solo set up today

Wish me luck! DH is working a full day, so I am running the Roo to the local campground this afternoon so we get a decent site. I've driven, backed up and helped set up before, but never all three solo.
Our maiden trip my husband took out the slide topper on the gatehouse as we were pulling through, so anything less than that I think is a success.

The advice on this site is G. O. A. L. (get out and look!) Works for me.

I had my first solo trip last weekend. Went very well...no casualties or mishaps to speak of....thank goodness! It just makes you think and remember what steps and procedures you need to do and how they are done. We get so dependent on others that we sometimes lack in our own observance.

My Solo was successful and I'm sure yours will be just as well.

My wife tells me she would be able to do everything except for the bunks. She could set them up but to put away might be a challenge. She is concerned being able to push them up by herself.

My wife reminds me of things that I miss often, I'm sure she could go without me! Just take your time. Get out and look when you need to. And ask for help from neighboring campers if you need it.

I agree. Luckily I won't have to put them back up.

I would add one more "O" at the end(Often). I have a 36' 5th wheel, and have always set up by myself. I get out and look multiple times, and make small movements in between. The backing up is a piece of cake. The hitching the trailer to my truck is the fun part. I can get near the trailer using the tailgate camera, but that is useless after I have to put the tailgate down.
