Speakers
We have a 2011 21ss roo with two indoor speakers and one outdoor speaker. Has anyone added a third indoor speaker? If so, what size and was it easy to splice into the original wiring?

Depends where you want to add the speaker.
Odd that you only have one outdoors. We have two on our 21ss.
If it is somewhere you can run the wires and access, then not a problem. If it is the ceiling, could be more difficult.

My mistake, there are two outside. My thought was to add it at the top of the entertainment center.

If you can get behind the radio, it shouldn't be too difficult to install, you would just splice into a or b, not c as that is outdoor speakers.

There will be a set of "empty" wires coming out of the plug on the back of the unit.

What radio?
Model?
If its a concertone you need to carefully remove outer trim ring then remove 4 screws to remove radio.
You should always start a thread of your own instead of piggy backing on others as youse get better results.

I thought about doing the same thing aftrer camping in Florida for a week and watching DVD's. The sound plays over by the sink and the other bunk but we are usually in the bunk closest to the TV or on the sofa.
My plan is to make the indoor speakers a left and right on the A channel and then use the B channel for a speaker at the top of the entertainment center. Just need to figure out what speaker to use.

I bought a pair of bookshelf speakers that include mounting brackets. I spliced into the speaker over the dining table (A), drilled a small hole through the cabinet wall and mounted the speaker under the storage shelf at the bunk end. Its tucked away in the corner and you cant see the wire or the small hole that the cable runs through. For the 2nd speaker, I spliced into the existing speaker wire over the stove, drilled a small hole inside the cabinet and ran the cable over to the other end behind the mircrowave. Drilled a small hole on in the cabinet end and mounted my speaker right in the corner. Can see any hole or cable and speaker reaches the other bunk since its right by the door. Very easy and the stereo has never overheated or shorted out.

If it is a Concertone the wiring diagram should be on the radio back once you remove.

I just replaced my speakers in my 2001 roo and sounds so much better. Speakers make a crappy stereo sound great. Also added an iPod jack and removed the tape deck.
