Spring, Texas Roo owners

I was looking though some old posts on here and seen a post from a family that weathered some pretty bad storms in their Roo last year. Seems we have 3-4 of us here on the Riley/Rayford area. I store mine over and spring storage for 50 a month for an open spot. Anyone found a decent price on cover storage spots? Pull my 233s with the lifted black dodge 1500 by Lockeridge farms. We should get a Roo Crew camping trip together!

I pay a bit more than double your price for a covered, electric provided, and sewage facility (located at a different place, but great when you need to clean the tanks) at Advantage RV and Boat Storage off of Pruitt Road. Close to the Legends Sports Complex and Montgomery county recycling center. Very secure place to my knowledge.

There is another Roo 23ss that is stored there as well as a few older hybrids.

I figured storing the Roo under a cover would keep it just that much more protected from the elements. That said it seems I cause more damage than the weather does ;(.

A Roo campout would be fun. Just the 4 of us - me, wife, 9 year old son and dog.

I'll give them a call today. Our roo is less than a year old and i want to keep it protected also so to me a little more than double is a good deal. Thanks!

Their is a small group of us from the woodlands fire department camping at yogi bear water park camp ground over 4th of July. Great place to take the kids.
We made our reservations just this last week. Was really surprised they still had openings

This is the website. Last time we were out there we had 8 of us total in the Roo. 4 adults and 4 kids everyone had a blast.

We camped there a couple of spring breaks ago, but we rented one of the cabins (actually we had three families and we each rented a cabin). We had a lot of fun which along with cub scouts, drove our interest in purchasing a travel trailer.

Advantage RV

Just called them they have a 12 x 25. Is that the size you went with? Ours is 24 foot "Body", so the front A frame with the jack and propane tanks would stick out. Otherwise they have a 35 foot deep one but its another 30 dollars a month.

I'm not sure of the size - has to be around 30-35. I park the trailer a good ways back so that it doesn't get wet.

What was the quote? I believe I pay around 120 now. If you pay for a full year you get one month free...at least that was an option for me a year ago. I'm sure the rates have gone up since.

105 for the 12x25 a month. 135 for the 12x35. You must have the 12x35. I'm going to head up there now to take a look.

Maybe you or I will get a referral discount!

It is a very secure place and the guy lives on site. I like that.

I bet the 25 foot stall is on an end. You wouldn't want that - just my opinion.

My Roo is on the back line. The other Roo is on the the left line.

Yeah C24 is 2nd from the end middle row. I'm storing outside right now. At least I would have mostly the roof shaded most times of the day. I would have electric where I don't now. Plus its a pull though no backing in to things. This place seems a lot safer then our current one too. Where i'm at now I have landscapers parking on one side and water sprinkler installers on the other. Their in and out everyday and its just going to be a matter of time before I get backed into. The "Slot" I pay for has nothing in between us and there pretty tight spaced.

Yep, N21. I'll keep an eye on your Roo when I'm there!

There is a brand new airstream just a couple of spots away if I have that right.

I love the fancy rvs there.

I guess he gave you the dime tour and explained the security and sewage.

I've seen people utilize the hose to wash their trailer and also has air on sight. It's a good place - expensive but good.

We store ours at Riley Fuzzel Storage right now we are uncovered which cost $50.00 a month. They are right now enlarge the storage which will have a lot more covered, at that time I will get a covered spot. If you look behind the storage lot you will see construction of his new lot and buildings starting. I like storing it at Riley Fuzzel since I can be to the trailer in 2 minutes.

What's the cost going to be when it is covered? No chance of the grand parkway taking over the land?

Kevin- I have the same question. I thought he was going to lose a lot of property with the grand parkway. I called them a few times and they would never answer the number on the board out front or return my 4-5 calls. I just just figured they were closing up shop once the parkway came though.

The Grand Parkway is going thru the property now, they bought all the land behind to move onto. Construction as already started its going in two phases the first phase to finish some covered and all open storage to get us moved back, phase 2 which should start in May would be 50 more covered some enclosed and more open storage.. I just sent Ed a text on cost, he said covered will be $115 plus tax.

Good to know. Thanks! I wonder if he is putting a list together? I'd love to have a covered spot right across the street from the hood.
