Stabalizer Bars

Good day everyone.

I know I am getting ahead of myself but I'm curious to know if people put their stabalizer bars down during the winter or leave them up? We store our 19 foot Shamrock hybrid outside for the winter here in Ontario.

Thanks for the advice

We store ours in the driveway when not camping and are in and out all the time. I feel anytime the slides are opened the stabs should be out; so we leave them out all the time on wood pads.

we don't go in ours over the winter so I leave the jacks up. I figure its one less place the critters can use to get in.

We have a 2011 Shamrock 19 too.

I pump the tires to 65PSI, put my tire covers on, raise the front jack a tad so the trailerr is not level - to allow water/melted snow to fall off.

I do not put the stabilizers down, if a tire had a flat, it would put too much stress on the jack I believe. I do apply a generous coat of white grease to protect them from rust.
