Stove top cover

Has anyone made or bought a stove top cover for the burner stove that works well. Attempting to either make one or buy one for additional counter top space in a 21ss. Any help would be appreciated .

Stove cover

I took a large wooden Camco cutting board and used solid brushed nickel door stops for legs to clear the burner knobs in our 27hfs toy hauler.

Thanks!! That sounds like a good idea with the door stops.

Ours came with the folding metal cover but I made this to put over it. I put rubber feet on the bottom.

I made a cover that looks like Wiscampsins... but I also put a 'face' board on it to cover seeing the burners and a 'back' board on it to hold it in place going down the road. On the back wall and side wall of the stove area I also velcroed on clear plexi glass as a splash guards to keep the wall clean and nick free.

Can you post pics please? I'd like to see this. I like Wiscampsin's idea too!

I made one for our Roo19. Made with plywood and covered with laminate that almost matches the counter. Fits snug and will not move in transitClick image for larger version

I made one that looks like Wiscampsins too. Love having it and not putting stuff on the metal cover. We just put it on the kitchen table area when travelling.

Luke21ss, does you stove have the glass cover over it? Our 21ss does and in order to keep the glass nice I bought a maple bread board (cutting board), and put rubber "feet" on the bottom to lift it off the glass and raise it above the hinges in the glass cover. It works well and I can use it for all sorts of things that I would never use the glass top for.

No glass top. Mine actually looks just like alicams roo19 stove. That's a great idea also. Just picked up the cutting board and going to try out next week on our trip. Thanks everyone for the feedback and great ideas.

Made one using a cutting board. Feet were the clothes hanger rod end pieces from Home Depot. They are aligned with the burner grills to lock it in place. Does not move while in transit.

Yes, Amazon and Walmart carry some different stove tops. If you search for Rv stove top cover you should find some different options. Good luck!
