My Honda Civic will pull a 25,000 pound fiver. But only with Amsoil in the engine.

I second this.

One vehicle I haven't seen mentioned is the Toyota Sequoia. Holds 8 people very comfortably. I towed a 25 foot Crossroads, 6500 lbs GVWR. I now have a 2017 Roo 23ikss, and the Sequoia handles that with no problems. It has the 5.7 V8, and tow package is standard. It is built on the Tundra platform. I've had a 2008 SR5 model for almost 4 years now, you could probably find one pretty reasonable as far as price...the new ones are pretty expensive.

My previous TV was a 2007 Sequoia with the 4.7 V8, also had no issues towing with that.

When not camping there is plenty of room for people or cargo.

Just my 2 cents worth.....

What engine in the Civic? 2 cylinder LR-87 or the single cylinder LR-91?

The Civic couldn't possibly pull it with the stock engine. You must swap the Accord hybrid power train into the Civic and add 12 inch rims.

I second this. We pull with a 2010 v8 Sequoia and it is great. Don't know your towing it unless you look back.

I have an 05 233, my 08 Toyota Sequoia does a great job pulling it. Lots of room in the car, lots of tow power, can't complain.

Update

I decided to purchase a truck. I bought a 2010 F150 FX4 specifically for towing. It's rated at 11,200 so I believe I am good.

Gee, after going on about how great the Sequoia was (and still is) I saw a truck I liked. Should've kept walking, but I took a test drive...

My new TV, 2015 F150 Lariat Supercrew cab with 3.5 EcoBoost.

Now I can't wait for the snow to leave so I can take out the Roo!

Good choice. Are you keeping the Roo or have you also considered other TTs?

IMO your payload limits you to TTs in the 8,000 loaded range (1200 tongue weight), but you can still get a fairly large 2-slide TT in that weight-range...

Also, is your wife driving the F150, or does she have something else?

My DW drives an Odyssey which seats 7-8 & gets better mpg than an full-size SUV. However, when she drives my truck her only complaint is if I haven't kept the interior clean... Otherwise she likes sitting higher & having a better view of the highway.

A good weight distribution hitch with Anti Sway bar will allow you to tow the 233s with a much wider list of vehicles. I have the EAZ lift WDH with Anti Sway bar and our GMC YUKON pulls it easily...

This was the OP's last post... He already got a F150 FX4 to tow his Roo. For that combo I recommend the Equalizer 4 as the best bang/buck WDH...

The 3.5 Ecoboost has WAY PLENTY power to pull a 23SS.
Some, with the Max Tow and HD Payload packages, can tow some 5th wheels.

There are tons of Ecoboost owners easily towing much bigger and heavier trailers.

Great looking truck! I have the 2016 Lariat v8 supercrew. Pulls like a champ, and the back seat and legroom is HUGE! I hope you love it!

Get the Andersen WDH, I did and will never ever tow a TT without that hitch, so much better then the bars. I towed with a 2014 F150 Crew SB EB 3.5 with no issues until I moved up to a 2016 F350 Crew SB PSD, and still worked great had to reset everything but just a great setup and design over all

Not a truck eh? Congrats. Nice looking truck.

sorry thought the original poster put the picture up of the new truck.

I did too, loved my 2014 F150 Crew SB EB 3.5 but couldn't pass up the deal I got on my F350 Crew SB PSD King Cab. Wife's friend owns a Ford dealer so got it for Cost.

I have only had my IKSS for a year and knew nothing about WDH. I took Wicked1's advice and got the Andersen hitch and have had no regrets. I needed to remove one link of chain and I usually disconnect the hitch while I am in a straight line before backing in. The hitch does allow you to back with it but I like to keep the triangle plate straight. I also got a PMS system from progressive industries, possibly on Wicked1's recommendation. The PMS kicked in a few times last summer and could possibly have saved me some expensive repairs.
