The hitch does allow you to back with it but I like to keep the triangle plate straight. I also got a PMS system from progressive industries, possibly on Wicked1's recommendation. The PMS kicked in a few times last summer and could possibly have saved me some expensive repairs.

Hey I owe my experience from this forum and researching Andersen.

Glad it all works for you [emoji106]

I now have the Progressive 50AMP EMS in my Crusader and have the Andersen 5th wheel Aluminum Hitch and could not be more happy with it.

Great thing about these forums is you get real life experienced Campers helping each other which is more valuable then any dealer, MFG. that being said I have learned a lot by talking to fellow campers at CG's, I always look at everyone's setup and see what more I can learn or take advantage of, so far I think I have it down pretty well.

Just last July I made the same purchase. Spent three years looking up the type of truck I needed and still got good gas mileage every other day of the week. Went with a 2013 Ford F-150 ecoboost crew cab as well[emoji106]

I dragged a 23' Layton TT behind a 79 Ford Bronco all over Alaska for 3 years. Never had a lick of trouble!
