tail light bulb
Does anybody know what bulb goes in a 2013 Roo 21SS? I already had one go out so was thinking I would just change them to LED.

I thought about doing this with our 2013 as well. From what I found, first off you need LED's that match the color of the lens (red in this case). There are a couple links in other threads here that take you to sources for red LED's. I haven't tried ordering any because I wasn't 100% sure I found the right bulb. The other option is to replace the whole fixture with one designed for LED's, but too much trouble for me.
One thing I did come across was a kit from Bargman that "adapts" their regular light fixtures to LED's. It plugs into the existing bulb socket and includes the LED and a new lens. Looked like a good way to go, but the ROO's fixtures aren't Bargman. Maybe somebody else has come across something similar that would fit the lights on the ROO.

Looks to be the right bulb, and looks like a much better quality bulb than some of the others I have seen. Seems like there are a lot of variations in shape and # of LED's and some of the cheaper ones just don't look like they would be all that bright. The good reviews on that one make it tempting to spring for a couple and try it.

I see you should get red bulbs if the plastics that it is shining through is red. What about if there is a clear section at the bottom to shine on the license plate? Still go red and just have a red light on the license plate? That's what I am leaning towards but thought I would get other opinions.

For $25 per bulb, I'd rather replace the old school bulb over and over before coughing out that cash.
Never seen an issue with brightness of filament bulbs in trailer lights.
Other option is replace entire light housing with new led trailer housings. I recall getting a full set for a lot less than two bulbs from princess auto.

(Price has gone up a bit, but they do go on sale.
