Tank hose storage
Hi.
A couple times when traveling I have almost lost the covers outside my hose storage. Any ideas on how to fasten these?

Drill a hole near the end of the tube thru the end cap on the top and bottom and drop a long bolt thru it or if it is a small hole, cut a pc of coat hanger and stick it thru the top of the tube, the top and bottom of the cap and the bottom of the tube.

Drill a hole through and drop a pin in. I've seen people use metal bbq Skewers cut short.

Been there done that. :-) had to buy a new hose and caps.
I bought some caps that you have to squeeze to release.
They seem pretty tight, but I have the added protection of a thumb screw.
You can get them at Walmart or Amazon.

I tried to get my Rhino hose in there but the ends would not fit so I just ran a screw from the top down and up from the bottom after gluing some screen over the square holes.

Mmmm Power Fist jacks lol
Drill a hole in the end and grab these 3/32 in. Presto Pin | Princess Auto and drop them in the hole you drill, so when you drill the hole keep it close to the edge.

Mine look like this. I haven't had any problems with them. (I don't put anything in my bumper, either.)

I put Velcro pieces 2" long on the top and bottom of the bumper and then run a 6" piece across the cap to hold it in place......seems to work.

I use nylon zip ties through the holes at top and bottom.

On my trailer , I drilled a hole near the edge of the top of bumper, end cap , and bottom of bumper.
Inserted a stainless steel tent peg through and cut off the extra length.
