I'm still waiting mine out. I'll check mine in the spring. If the bed feels soft, I'll have to do something.

These are the only seams or else that look faulty - when I push on the bottom of door, moisture comes from these joints. Eek.

yep, definitely could be the area causing water intrusion.
i'd also check the silicone below the delamination area.

these are the kind of things that a hybrid owner has to stay vigilant on.
those cracks in your pics, have been there for some time.
hybrids are great RV's but you have to pay close attention to the door areas, especially the front one. since it's sloped, water can infiltrate it easier than the rear bunk door.

Frustrating, because I bought it last month after having a pre-purchase inspection performed by a local dealer. It passed with flying colors according to them. My plan is to have it checked at least annually for things like silicone, seals, etc. Little did I know that this would hit me so soon. Serious bummer.

well, i wouldn't trust any local dealer with inspecting a hybrid, unless they carried a hybrid line.
hybrids are not that common, compared to other types of RV's and you need someone familiar with them, to do a good inspection.
very few dealers even carry hybrids, because they don't make as much money on them as they do bigger RV's. they feel that if you want a smaller/cheaper RV, they'll sell you a popup.

i bought my hybrid from a long-time hybrid dealer and had warranty work done at a local dealer that carried two different brands of hybrids.

then i would definitely take it back to them and cause a ruckus!
with only having it a month and they didn't catch this? those cracks in the door frame, are not new.

When we were looking to replace our Shamrock, I subscibed to Kijiji alerts to get an idea for a selling price. It was amazing to see the number of people that posted pictures of Hybrids for sale with obvious delamination and were asking top dollar. As I said earlier, at at least one dealer we visited many of the new trailers on the lot had delamination. Maybe it's more of a problem in this Canadian climate.

First run at Forest River with Sheri, parts rep, is that warranty doesn't cover because of me as second owner.

I have a call in now with the warranty department to try and work something out. Any advice in dealing with Forest Rivet other than stating nicely that the TT is only 4 years old ?

Thanks,

i think your first stop, would be the dealer before FR.
you've only had it a month and they should help you out and deal with FR.
