Anyone use scotch-guard on their tent bunks?

I've been using Scotchguard on Hybrids and popups for years. I have a 23IKSS now and Scotchguard it once a year (usually in the Spring).

I will use a waterproofing, but give the ends time to season by getting wet and drying several times

We have owned our Roo 23SS since Nov, 2006 and have NEVER needed to do any treatments to our tent ends.
No waterproofing, no seam sealer, nothing.
Never had any tent leaks, just condensation.

Used Scotch Guard on my 2008 Roo every other year. It not only stopped heavy rain day seepage it also kept the vinyl a little cleaner and easier to clean.

I too have never applied anything to my 2008 23SS bunk ends and have never had a problem and the Pop-Up Gizmos keep everything clean.
