The wait is over, new 21ss

After 3 years of looking, researching and reading we finally took delivery of our new 21ss. Can't wait to go camping.
We live in Oregon and the best price/deal we found was Labadie RV in Ohio.

We're in central, WA and just bought a used '07 21ss. It's just two of us and we love it! We even dance in it because there is so much room. Happy trails to you!!!

we bought our Roo from a dealer in Chicago and drove 4000 miles roundtrip to get it and bring it home to California.

still saved over $4000 even after fuel and hotel costs. and was still way cheaper than having it delivered.

people in the Midwest don't realize how much West Coast RV dealers gouge us out here on RVs. they know most won't drive to the Midwest to save money.

Congrats on the new 21SS, bozeman. I thought the same thing about the 21SS when we first saw it... It's a dance floor in there.

We've always had the same problem with high prices up here in Canada but now that the exchange rate on our dollar is so poor it's more understandable.

We Love Ours

We looked at a lot of trailers before I happened across a 2009 21ss sitting in a small RV sales lot in a small town south of Albuquerque. It had everything I wanted, and everything my wife wanted except counter space. I bought a narrow table that fits where the new ones have an island. We are both happy. Enjoy. You'll find you can boondock in places other trailers can't go, and still have room for the family. I use a 6' piece of 1/2" electrical metal conduit to hold up the bunk while I tuck in the fabric. Makes it much easier.

No need for the conduit in the newer hybrids. Close the doors and windows, turn on the fantastic fan, and the suction created by the fan will pull the tenting inward. Easiest thing ever.

Thanks everyone. I just finished adding shelves in the wardrobe and over sink cabinet. Also trimmed the plastic in the windows so they'd open further.

Congrats on your new 21SS. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed our 2015 Roo 21SS.

I sure understand about the wait; we ordered in January 14th 2014 and our Indiana dealership had it ready for us to take delivery on April 22nd, 2014. While not long, once you decide on all the wood finish, fabric, and other options and place the order, the waiting for it to get built is like being a kid on Christmas Eve.

Also took out flimsy panel under vanity that gave me 6 inches of space and added new panel 6 inches further back to double the space.
Also the window mod, cut 4 inches off the plastic stopper.
