Thinking about selling

We are thinking about selling our 2014 233S for 2016 233S.
Our camper is awesome and has no issues what so ever. We keep it covered under a pole barn when not camping.
I looked up RV Nada values and wondering if this is close to what we can expect to get if we sell it. I would even be happy w/ low retail. I looked and there are no Roo 233s for sale near us other than new.

Our reason for possibly upgrading is we like the sapphire package, black tank flush, extra shelving/storage and location of the entertainment center. Frameless double pane windows. Glass doors on the shower (maybe a bigger shower but haven't seen 2016 in person).

Down falls is less cargo capacity almost 400 lbs. The pantry next to the bathroom is now in the bath (losing storage here). So this may compensate for the extra storage in the entertainment area, cabinets over dinette, nightstand by front bed and over sink. Fake leather look in all color patterns.

If you have any thoughts on the new features good or bad I'm open to hear them.

Does anyone know if they fixed the uneven beds in the 2016. We had to install insulation/foam board under all 3 beds in our camper now.

You have a better chance of getting more value out of it selling on your own than trading in. I was pretty surprised how little two dealers offered for my unit compared to Nada pricing.

"New" has that shinny pretty image with nice upgrades & changes. On the other hand "present" sounds like it still works. In another year or two there will be other new changes with the newer model. For many of us it can be while for some of us not so much. Only you can determine if selling & buying is the right choice. It comes down to what is important and you already have a head start on listing some pros & cons.

Keep in mind the wholesale price is set by the dealer and can vary greatly below the low retail price.

Sell your tt your self and get more money for it. Also I think I would wait as mentioned as things will change on a tt. I was considering do what your looking to do but then changed my minded and bout the next one 41/2 years later. Glade I waited even came out with new floor plan. Later RJD

Unless you have to absolutely have the larger shower keep your 2014. With the larger shower and bath comes less inside storage.
Double pane windows are a waste of money on a hybrid with tent ends and R7 walls. Its almost a $700 option.
You can add a tank flush for about $50, IMO they are overrated.
Your 2014 is most likely built better than a 2016. I know this first hand.
You're most likely going to take a loss even selling your 2014 privately. Its too new. To get what its actually worth puts it in the area where a buyer realizes that for a little more money they can buy new.

I sold a 2013 Passport Hybrid I bought new in 2012 around Thanksgiving, to buy a 2016 Roo 23WS. With the issues I found when the trailer arrived, that are still being dealt with by Rockwood and the Dealer and apparently no one can put a time frame on anything, I now am starting to think I would of been much better off keeping the Keystone.

If I was you I'd think long and hard about making a 2014 to 2016 switch for basically the same trailer.

When we bought our 2016 23ss last July, I thought about buying a couple year old used one. The problem was, people where trying to sell their used 2014 models for more than I could get a new 2016 for. They didn't want to take a loss.

Most people pay more than they should, then they finance for 10 or 12 years.

We would defiantly sell ourselves if we do sell. I wouldn't buy unless we can sell ours first. We owe a lot less than low book value.
Next weekend we are going to look at the new 2016 at a dealership near us. That will help us decide if the upgrades are worth the trade off. There are several pro/cons and right now I'm finding the new interior colors not suiting me. So that may help.
Thanks everyone for your help.

You might look for the Shamrock twin of it. It may have interior colors more to your liking.

I don't notice issues with uneven beds in my 2016 but I might not be noticing if there is an issue...I could sleep on a rock.
