To trim or not to trim........Anyone use Andersen levelers with a 233S??

Bought a set of Anderson levelers for my 2016 233S and am unable to see if I need to trim them. Does anyone use a set with their 233S, or with their 23 foot Roo?

Thanks!

We use them with our 23WS. We trimmed both, but I'm not sure that we needed to trim the rear one. In order to fit between the two tires, the front one needed to be trimmed at the front (almost to the first hole), and the back corner needed to be rounded.

Anderson Levelers

Same here, just trimmed one back. The dealer told me they were awesome, recommended them, I bought them then realized they didn't fit between forest river axles lol. Gotta love those dealers....

I have Anderson levelers also, for my 233S. I trimmed them back on the shallow end, and trimmed the lower corner of the fat end back at a 45. I trimmed both of mine the same, not just the one. That was probably mostly my OCD to blame, but my logic behind that was that the tire on the untrimmed leveler will have to travel a further distance to attain the same amount of lift as the tire on the trimmed leveler. We're probably only talking about a 1/4" or so but the OCD demands they be uniform.

How far did you trim the shallow end back?

I think I trimmed it back to the first hole, or possibly through the first hole, I don't remember exactly. The instructions said how far you could trim it back, and I was within that amount. I'm not at home right now but I can check later or post a picture if you like.

Thanks. I think I will trim back a few inches and see how it works out. Much appreciated!

We have a set for our ROO 21DK. My DH trimmed one back to the first hole and smoothed it. Left the other alone. We only used them a couple of times so far but work great.

We don't have a Roo, but do use the levelers and love them! Had to trim(only one, I'm not THAT OCD ) due to close axles. Quick and easy leveling. Also use the Anderson jack and it works great!
