hope you don't mind me asking, the fictional "dry" weight of the 233S is 4786lbs.
the fictional "dry" hitch weight is 660lbs.

the dry hitch weight already exceeds your Explorer's max of 500lbs., without a battery, water and cargo.

and the loaded weight of the trailer, will easily exceed the 5000lbs. max towing capacity of the Explorer.

and that's not even discussing payload capacity.

are you aware you're exceeding almost all the Explorer's max capacities?

All true. Luckily I plan on having my trailer on a seasonal site about 20 miles from my home. So I'll only be towing it 2-3 times this year.

My long term plan is to tow with a pick-up(150 or 1500).

Just wanted to make sure that the dealer didn't tell you, "Sure you can tow that with the Explorer ".

I had an '05 Avalanche that I traded for my Harley Davidson 4years ago(that I just traded for the Roo 233S). I wish I still had that. It would've been a great camping/tow vehicle!

I love towing our 23SS with our '07 Avalanche.
Seems perfectly matched.
