Tornado Rotary Flush

Has anyone here installed a Tornado Rotary Flush system on their black water tank?

Looking to install one, but wanted to see if any anyone has an opinion about them and where is the best place to install on the tank.

works great. Simple install if your tank is easily accessible. Install about in the middle of one of the long sides. You'll be amazed it what is rinses out after the tank is done draining.

I installed one. Getting near the middle of the tank is best. I had to install it on the drain side ( the only place i could) and it work great from there too.

Been seeing lots of pros and cons about it. Rock's video above certainly helped. This will be a Fall project for sure on the BW tank. I want to install one on the Gray as well but, not certain if I have enough clearance between the tanks.
Thanks for the input.

We did the same as The Big Log. I think it works well. I have no interest in sticking a rod down the toilet to flush out the black tank.

I installed 2 quickie flushes in both the gray and black tank. I like not having to use a stupid wand anymore. The way my tank sat in the frame rails I had to install it on the opposite side of the drain.

Was not that hard. The hardest part is finding the right size hole saw. I would not use a large drill bit. Maybe a step drill would work, you can get those really cheap at harbor freight. Than just use plenty of silicone to seal it up.

The more I see of all these black tank flushers, the more I think a simple hose with wand down the toilet is better for cleaning it out.

I installed the Quickie Flush in our last 2 trailers. Similar to the Tornado without the spinning head. Either one is better than just draining without flushing!

Easy to put in if the tank is accessible. Mine is on the side of the tank about 2/3 of the way back. The back of the tank is against the frame rail and was not accessible. Still works very good!

Except that you need to drag a hose in through the camper, or through the window if you have one. vs. a one time install and then just connecting a hose. very simple and less messy!
