The bolts would need to shear to fail, if the bolts shear off due to load then you have bigger issues...

you self tapping bolts to hold it to the frame I don't think they are going

not towing.
I didn't care for the bolts either so I welded mine on (and I'll say it first, no I am not worried about the frame warranty).

Nice truck! Is that a TRD Rock Crawler? I'm thinking about getting the 2015 TRD pro that comes out this fall.

Yes. We had a beautiful 2006 crew cab tundra w/ 65k and this traded in the same day at my dealership. Told DW to come by and she saw Clifford and said "mommie likey"! And you all know why Clifford came home! 😋

Or in our case, new truck to new camper, then to next new truck, then the next new camper. Seemed like every year we got one or the other. We've kept out current setup up for about three years now, but 've been looking around for the right low mileage 97 to 03ish F250 7.3 diesel, just to try out mind you, work on a bit, tow a bit, work on a bit, tow some more.

And I did go with the 1200/12K Equalizer first. It worked very well with both of the campers. I just found a great deal on craigslist for the Hensley, or I'd still be using the Equalizer. I also sold the old Drawtite that I bought off craigslist and never used.

Now for the Equalizer, you will need a special thin wall socket to install the ball. That is the only downside I ever saw with the hitch.

I also picked up a set of the bracket jackets to cut down on the noise. The noise they make has to be experienced to appreciate. I never minded the noise, kinda reminded me the hitch was doing what it was designed to do.

Camping_Buddys Our friend has a Surveyor and love it. Nice looking setup. I see you live in Orlando. What is your favorite campground? We camp a lot at Disney and Fort Desoto (St Pete).
All the pictures makes me wish we had our camper.

As far as the WDH I placed my order for 12k Equil-i-zer. Got a great price of $480 shipped. Also ordered the Equil-i-zer 12k ball 2 5/16.

Everyone has been great helping me w/ the decision to get the WDH. I'm thankful for the people on this forum.
