Looks like a great way to do it. Have you noticed any issues with the bottle jack being wobbly or slipping?

If you want to change a flat tire. You only have to drive the good tire up a ramp and the flat tire will follow change tire and drive back down the ramp. No jack needed.

only if you have said ramp with you at the time of flat on the country road with no civilization within 50 miles !

No I have not. Also I carry a jack stand that I put under frame just in case......
