I'm going this week and have LT E's put on my truck before my new trailer gets here. All that wiggle and squirm from the P's is irritating.

Ah so that is what is causing the wiggle and swishing around? The hitch is set perfect but not sure why I had some of the wiggle going from NJ to VA and back especially that the Roo is 1700#'s lighter and I have a 1000# TW hitch setup for a 750# TW on the Roo

I can barely fit 285's on my F150 vs stock 275's. 305's sound big to me. The 285's afford me less clearance for ice buildup in the winter.

Been there , Trailer Dealers know nothing about sway reduction P vs LT tires. This forum provided the education required. Jacking the air up to 44 psi on the P Perrelli's helps but not the same as LT tires.

Suggestion:

When safe (on a straight highway with lots of room) try to watch the trailer in the side mirror. Pick a spot of dirt or something on the mirror, and line up the rear corner of the trailer with it. When the Reese Dual-Cam is set up correctly, there should be zero movement relative from the trailer to the mirror. It should look like you are driving a solid, one piece unit. It's kinda hard to describe, but when you see it, you will know what I am talking about.

If the corner of the trailer is moving around relative to the mirror, then you are getting some angle at the hitch between the truck and the trailer, and you need to redo your setup. IF it isn't moving, then your wandering is most likely a tire issue.

I run the Dual-cam and I have no sway or "angle" between the truck and trailer on straight roads.
