Trying to figure out if a I have an "earlier 2012", "2012" or "2012 1/2" model
We purchased an 'off-the-lot' Roo 233s from RVWholesalers based on floor plan and pictures alone. We have not seen the unit in person.
I am now trying to determine what model year we will actually have purchased and therefore what features we have.
Is it a "earlier 2012", "2012" or "2012 1/2" model.
I do notice that:
- We do have the U-shaped dinette. (see pic)
- We do have the Battery disconnect switch. (see pic)
Now I am trying to determine if we have the attached bunk-ends or not.
Does any know for sure if one has the U-dinette and the disconnect will that the unit was built late enough in the year to automatically have the attached bunk-ends?
I assume you will have a 2012.5 with the attached bunk ends. Both of the changes you describe are what we have on ours, and we have attached bunk ends. Have you called and asked the salesperson to run out and take a look at it?

Looking at the pics, I don't see any bungees hanging in the bedding area. Maybe somebody with the unattached bunk ends can say whether the bungees are visible from the inside when the bunks are closed.

The salesperson SHOULD know the answer without needing to go out and look at it. But, a quick stroll to their lot to answer your question should not be too much to ask...

Yes, but I am Canadian and too polite to ask anyone to go out of there way for me
OK I will ask.

FYI: We have a 2012 233s Roo. We ordered it in July and picked up it in October. We had a U-shaped dinette, battery cut off switch and 22" tv mounted over the couch added without the salesman or ourselves knowing about the additions before it was delivered. We had ordered a 2011 with our choice of interior decor, since the 233s Roos available did not have decor we wanted. We paid 2011 prices, as far as I can determine, but received a 2012 model. BY THE WAY, OUR BUNKS ARE BUNGEE CORD DESIGN. As others have stated, "mixed" models are not unusual. We upgraded from a 12 year old popup, so bungee corded bunks are not an issue for us. Again, we received the mentioned "extras" at last year's prices. All 2012 Roos I've been able to research have prices that are $2500-$4000 more than what we paid. Our salesman was quite experienced and he was very surprised at what arrived for us. We are very lucky.

Hello Upgrader,
Yes reading your earlier post is what got me to thinking about which bunk style we were actually getting.
At this point we are going to get what we are going to get.

We purchased a 2012 Roo 19 from RVW in Nov. It has battery disconnect, wall mounted flat screen, but does not have attached bunkends. We and our sales rep were not expecting either of the upgrades at the time we bought (had not reached their lot yet), but they are nice upgrades. Attached bunks would have been nice, but we are used to a popup so wer're pretty happy with the changes we did get.
based on two things, i'd say you're getting the newer pre-attached canvas ends.
one, there are no snaps on the outside outer edge of the bunk doors. this is where the older ends snapped to the bunk door and the sides are bungeed.
two, the inside pics show no evidence of bungees, on any of the canvas.
so, i would bet my paycheck, that if the pics are of the one you're getting, then it's the new style.
another point, RVW sells so many Roos, that they end up getting the first updated models of any dealer in the country.
they always seem to get the newer versions first.
