tv antenna

[my new roo]

Hi everyone, I bought 2017 Roo 21SS four weeks ago, cam back from my first trip and the top of the tv antenna was gone. Just looks like it clips on, no screws. Chuck at Forest River is sending me one N/C, which is great. Has anyone replaced one? Simple or not? Thanks Ken

Yes, I have replaced the Winegard with a King Jack and it's really easy. You are correct that there are no screws... just pins with a groove on one end for a circlip. The only tool you will need is a needle nose pliers.

I received the new antenna, and I have to mount to roof. Is it special caulk or sealer that goes around the base of the antenna mounted to the roof.

Can you just utilize the top portion (the part missing on yours) from the replacement they sent you and not replace the entire antenna?

I would use Dicor self leveling caulk.

Or if you have to replace the whole thing, I'd bring it to the dealer to do so you won't void your warranty!
