unlevel front bunk end

I have a 2013 rockwood roo 183 purchased new in late 2012. I have now noticed that the frnt. bunk is not level with the camper. With the camper being perfectly level I have checked the other 2 bunks and they are very close to level but the front bunk seems to be hanging low on one corner approx. 1 inch. Has anyone else had this problem? I actually contacted FR and they said the the only adjustment would be to reposition the bracket holding the cable. That would mean drilling new holes and that is not what I want to do on a new camper. Of course my warranty has expired. I am considering replacing the 2 cables to see if this helps. Any help would be appreciated.

that's because most dealers don't mention the much cheaper extra year of factory warranty, because they don't get a commission like they do on the one you bought.
the dealer is supposed to tell you about it, but they choose not to, since they don't make any money off of it.

I'd just drill the new hole, and putty in the empty hole, but that's just me.

i would put a new shorter cable in, before i'd drill any holes.
you might want to measure each cable and see if they match lengths.

Why not just shorten the existing cable or is that not possible?

If you out in new cables, put in adjusters so cable length and platform level can be fine tuned.

Ordered new cables

Thanks for the responses. I decided to call FR again and just order 2 new cables. I have not measured the old ones because of the camper being in the folded up position. I did measure the 2 cable brackets that are attached to the wall and they are both placed the same distance from the ceiling. I will measure them when I remove them to add the new ones. The price of the cables were only a little over 4 bucks apiece. 13 bucks for both with shipping so I will try this since the cost was minimal. It might be a little tricky getting the cables off the bunk corners. I plan on having someone hold the bunk end part way up so that I can reach them while standing in camper. If this dosent take care of the problem I will consider something else. I will be sure to post my results when I put them on. Thanks

I wonder if one of the cables slid out of the holder that connects to the bolt? Any you just can't see it?
