Hello I have a genesis technologies radio in my shamrock, when u plug a USB cable into the USB port and then plug an iPhone into it the radio will just read flash is this normal, I tried two different iPhones and cables don't know what this means

If it is anything like the Jensen I have you will find that although it has a USB port it is years behind and will recognize a first gen I-Pod and that's it.

That's horrible especially seeing it has Bluetooth lol , oh well it was worth a shot

Can't it connect though blue tooth either?

Yes I can connect it thru Bluetooth but I was trying to charge it through the USB on the radio but it won't charge it just reads flash on the radio

The Genesis Radios do not play iPods, iPhones, large hard drives or any other device other than a USB drive up to 8 Gig. The USB may charge your devices depending upon the current requirements of the device.
