We got a 2016 shamrock 233s when we did the PDI we noticed ours was bowed too, now after opening the camper for spring it's bowed again, so I'll just have the dealer replace it under warranty again .

FR told our dealer that these things warp due to being inside hot RVs. Replacing it with another just like it simply means that one will warp, too.

We're going to replace it with something far sturdier and more useful, as did 1982 Ironhead.

[QUOTE=1982 Ironhead;1188692]I think these cutting boards come warped from the factory. Instead of trying to straighten it out I made a new one from 1/2" material. I started by tracing the form onto the new stock and cutting it out

Awesome. That is just what I was thinking except in wood. What type of plastic did you use and is it safe to use as a cutting board?

Warped Sink Cover Cutting Board

It is actually a winco cutting board I bought on eBay. Winco 18 inch by 24 inch by 1/2 inch white cutting board made of polyethylene plastic with a non-porous surface that won't stain or absorb juices. Dishwasher safe and NSF certified.

Take the factory sink cover/cutting board, wrap it in plastic, such as a kitchen bag, to keep it dust free, then place it flat somewhere up in your garage attic, only pull it back down when you sell or trade in your Roo. That's where mine is located currently

*That custom job by Ironhead looks amazing. Adding that to my future mods list.

I just took the cover out of it's flat storage place and found that it was back to the same useless shape. The dang thing has a memory!

Well. It's gettin' stored with the mattress we don't use and the next owner will have the pleasure of figuring out what to do with it.

Mine stays under the sink, don't use it as it is worthless, buy yourself a good cutting board instead.
