This Friday we are off on our first trip with the ROO. Bear Creek Lake in central Virginia. I'll post details and pictures when we get home.

Good luck & have fun. Not sure if someone suggested it yet or not but it's worthwhile making a "Before you depart" and "After you arrive" check list to make sure everything gets done each time.

Hopefully it'll cut down on those pulling out with the T.V. antenna still up moments....or is that just me.

mTn_biKer65,

Great advise, I don't have those lists yet but will work on that now. By chance do you have ones you would be willing to share?

Dave

Bad news...the person looking at my ROO apparently had no clue what he was doing because the refrigerator still does not work. The wall outlet that the fridge plugs into now works. Now it's too late to take to the dealer and have fixed in time for this weekend.

Looks like we will be camping with a very expensive ice box.

Bad news just keeps getting better.

On Friday as we departed for our maiden voyage we decided to stop into our preferred dealer to schedule the fridge repairs. As usual they came out to the Roo to see if the problem could be fixed on the spot. To our surprise they informed us that the fridge was missing the Thermofuse and without this part the fridge would not work. With the repair scheduled we departed for Bear Creek Lake State Park.

Today I get to call RVW to find out how they could certify everything on the camper working during the PDI when the fridge clearly couldn't work.

The dealer has to order the part but once it arrives it's a quick fix.

Spoke with a manager at RVW today about the fridge issue.

His reply to me was that he will look through my file and find out who did the PDI of my 233s and deal with that employee per the company policy.

He also apologized for the problems we had to deal with but said there was nothing else he could do.

Sorry to hear about the fridge as well.

if you read his comment it just means nothing will get done to that person and it will probably happen to someone else
