A little way back in this thread it was posted that the seals slould never fold in as the slide goes in, they should always face out. Can you all set me straight on that? Both my old and now this TT, both new when I got them, always had the seals fold in and out as the slide was operated.

Mine always has.. they would be crumpled if they didn't fold in..

I agree.. mine are about 1.75 Inches and always flop both ways with the travel of the slide..If they didn't flop 1 wouldn't have a good deal when closed..

I use Thetford premium slide-out rubber seal conditioner in an aerosol can.
