hopefully, the ball is already installed in the head. should be a 2 5/16" one.

Yes the ball is 2-5/16 and the guy had it welded in place. Good welds I might add. He had no thoughts of towing a small trailer so he decided to have it welded to make sure it didn't come off. I'll add some pictures later to show you what it looks like.

nice score for the price - dont know if I would personally like it welded but as long as you are ok with it then that is all that matter's - if you ever needed to replace pieces at the least you know you can get the parts from Equalizer so you wouldnt have to buy a whole new setup.
