Most of the major components are warrantied beyond the first year by their respective manufacturers. I had an axle issue at 15 months that Dexter made good on, no questions asked.

Consumer affairs always comes down hard on extended warranties saying they're a waste of money.

I have had a blown water pump on delivery - the dealer at RVW took care of it ASAP. Ive had good service from my dealer. Even without warranty It's a $150 repair. No where close to a grand.

most 3rd party extended RV warranties' fine print at the bottom, will not cover the really expensive repairs, like wall delamination or roof leak damage.

We ended up skipping on the 5 year and will simply take the 2nd year at 150.

Now the long 2 day wait to get it.
