Didn't mean to rub it in. After all we have some pretty ugly smog to live with.

I win!! We had an additional 16.5 inches of snow last night to add to the 10 or so already on the ground. The camper is buried again. We have 6 foot drifts in our backyard. The snow is so wet that it has a blue tint to it. Extremely heavy. I think it'll take until June to melt.

Cheer up folks!
Winter in Minnesota is over. You heard it here first. Wet my finger and stuck it in the air a couple of days ago..and wouldnt you know it. Finished! Still buried in some snow but we have been grinding out mid to high 30's all week with no snow in sight. You all will be whistling this tune with me soon enough. Why all this optimisim...well..in three weeks I take delivery of my camper and four weeks I pack her up for my first ever March camping trip! Now there's a reason I've never camped in March in Minnesota...but this year is going to be different. Its happening with or without the cooperation of the weather!

It made it to about 60 degrees and sunny here today. We have our first trip of the season planned for next weekend. Can't wait. It will be bittersweet for us. We will be missing our beloved dog that we buried today. The tt will be empty but we have had such a rough past few days that we really need a chance to get away.
