Well who knew that deciding was this tough!!!

Ok,, so I have pretty much lost my mind trying to decide on which TT to get.
Seriously how many floor plans can one look at without going bonkers?

So this week the plan is to buy a Roo 21dk. My question is. Where should we look? I know RV Wholesale and Rv direct but I do not think they have any in stock and I do not want to wait 8 weeks.
I have put in the search at Forest River website for dealers,, Seems like we only have 2 within 400 miles that carry Roo's. YIKEs!
I live in North Louisiana. Anyone have any suggestions?

One can go crazy while searching for the right RV. Dot down notes of what you like or don't like can help along with taking a few pictures. After a while of looking at different units your memory can start blending together. When I went to buy my TT I was so sure the bedroom was different and actually thought we were in the wrong TT. Then I remembered that I took some pictures and sure enough I got the bedroom mixed up with another model.

Also renting an RV is a good way to find out what doesn't work well for your family before buying.

Why not look for a Shamrock dealer, since they are the twin of the Roo?
Might find one closer than a Roo dealer.

As bikendan pointed out, the Flagstaff Shamrock and the Rockwood Roo are the same thing. Forest River produces the the Flagstaff and Rockwood lines in the same factories side by side. There is usually just some color, and graphics/stickers differences between the two lines.

It's even called a 21DK in the Flagstaff Shamrock line:

This way Forest River can have two dealers close to each other, but both of them selling a "different" name trailer. If you will look at the Flagstaff lines, you will see the same trailer floorplans as the Rockwood line.....trailer for trailer.

I haven't checked their inventories for specific trailers (as the online inventories are usually never accurate in my experiences), but living in North Louisiana myself, I know Clay's RV in West Monroe carries the Rockwood line....... and Bayou Outdoors in Bossier City carries the Flagstaff line.

You might give them a call to check and see if they have any or can get their hands on one quick.

We bought our 21dk in January 2014. We ordered with almost every option. It's almost ready for pickup. Yes it was 8-10 weeks but it'll be worth the wait by getting the exact trailer we wanted. But if your wanting one now... and the only option for you getting one now is at the roo dealers, then a 400 mile drive it is!! Road trip!

Interestingly, I located one I was looking for by going on RV Trader and keying in my parameters. It will tell you dealers as well as private owners.
