Wet bunk ends

We are spending our first weekend in our new 23ikss roo!! This is our first trailer so we are fumbling our way through but loving it so far! This morning when we woke up I looked up and the bunk end looked wet. When I reached up the inside was wet with water drops all over. Is this normal??

Yes. What you have is condensation. When its warm inside and cool outside you can get condensation on the canvas (and the windows too). A few things to help that:

-Air flow - Crack the canvas a little at both ends and crack one of the roof vents. Air flowing along the canvas will reduce condensation.

-Turn the heat down and use the heated mattresses. We usually keep the furnace at 62 at night.

-Popup Gizmos or a home-made version. These will help with condensation in cool weather and reflect the sun in hot weather.

Try to reduce the condensation so its not dripping on you, but otherwise just wipe the canvas off in the morning or let the sun dry it out.

I agree with all of KMP44's suggestions. We also run a fan all night (on its lowest setting) to encourage air movement.

If you invest in a set of Popup Gizmos - and I highly recommend them - get the super high wind version as they are easier to put on. I got the original high wind version and the clamps are a bit of a pain to put on and take off. Do a search for "PUGs" on these forums for more info on them.

Ah yes, the "pleasures" of having canvas around.

I will echo the thoughts of others on Pop-up Gizmos and keeping air flowing in the HTT. We had a Roo 23SS for 5 years - loved it after we figured out the condensation problem. Once we kept the air circulating, no problems. Having 3 furkids breathing all night with the three of us didn't help matters much. The more warm moisture inside at night, the worse it gets with the cool temps.

ladun6, your experience is quite common for new hybrid owners that haven't been on forums like this one. A typical RV salesman will be clueless as to some of the issues unique to hybrids.
As all the others have, get PUGs or the generic solar blanket versions and allow for air movement and you should see the condensation issue "evaporate".
