What are these for?
While sitting outside the trailer at the campground I gazed upon these 2 holes/slots. I can't find out what they are from the owner's manual, surprise, surprise.
Does anyone know what purpose they serve?

Yes I tried mine and it held, only problem I saw was the cable inside wasn't long enough, it worked but it was tight!!!!! So a longer one for the outside is a must!!!!!

Thanks for the help. I knew I could get an answer much quicker from someone on the forum.
Our next big purchase will be some type of gizmo to get cable or satellite tv reception. We also want to install a clear window in the solid door. We just installed a clear plastic slide in the middle of the screen door so one can sit on the sofa and see what is going on outside. Why they would install a solid black piece that obstructs the view is beyond me.

We used our TV outside a lot this past weekend. Nothing like watching the debate while sitting outside swatting at mosquitoes. Really it is a great set up.

Which is worse, the debate or the mosquitoes? At least you can swat a mosquito and only think about slapping a candidate up the side of head for dumb answers.

Two suggestions if you are going to move the TV from inside to outside frequently:
1) It is easy to pull the TV power cord through the holes to take the TV out, but snaking it back through proved to be a pain so now this little extension cord lives in the entertainment console so I don't need to fish wires.

2) On our 23IKSS, all of the cable jacks are threaded except for the one outside under the TV bracket. That one is a push-on style connector and when I tried to hook up the TV for the first time I couldn't get the screw on cable to work. Now I have push on wires inside and outside so it makes it easier.

Our Puma came with two TV brackets one swing arm for the ent. center one flat for the outside. Even with the swing arm bracket the outside wall mount has held our 32" with no problems.

Good point DK. I ended up running an extension cord so I could easily plug and unplug the TV.

So the manufacture say's "Let's put a bracket outside so folks can hang the TV and enjoy it outside"but we wont have a power outlet nor a connector for the TV cable.

I have both a power outlet and cable outlet. That is strange they would not have those available.

Our 23IKSS has power and a cable outlet outside right below the outside TV mount.

We too have the hookups outside, just haven't used them.
Those that design these RV's should be made to spend time in them and then they would learn, maybe, what works and what doesn't.

I tried to hook up my satellite TV to the outside cable jack and couldn't get reception. I checked the cable to see if it was connected and it was. For some reason I can't get it to work. Is there a difference in cable types between satellite and cable TV?

Do you have separate cable and satellite jacks? The cable usually goes through a splitter and won't work without modification. The satellite does not.
As far as the outside I just wish they had an hdmi run to the outside. I usually watch dish so it's more of a hassle to move everything out there than it's worth. I am in the process of rigging up a wireless solution.
