What in the world is this for?

Could someone please tell me what this is for. Its on the dump side of a 2015 23ss, Under the outside shower and left of the cable hook up. Has the same type of connection as a city water hook up or garden hose. I have scoured the owners Manuel which i'm thinking would serve a better purpose lighting a campfire. I may not know what I'm doing but I know where to go Thanks guys

I was hoping but I can find nothing going to the tank. Although that would be great!

The label is talking about sewer gases. I say FI is right. Open the black tank dump valve... hook a water hose to it and run some water in there and find out.

What's strange is the sticker on my XLR that was near the flush inlet/hose connection, said to open the dump valve before flushing. What I do is nearly fill the black tank from the flush inlet, then dump... repeat until clean. You can run the black tank over inside your trailer (probably) if you aren't careful. But, a flush valve is a nice addition.

If you look inside the cabinet of your bathroom sink and see one of these vacuum break valve then it is for your black water tank flush....

THX guys, That's exactly what it is. Which is great! Extremely happy about that. I do wish that would have been mentioned during the walk through but I will take it none the less. I was a bit shocked at all the debris that was in the tank. Styrofoam, plastic, And a piece of wood shot out?

Meh, has been seen/posted about so much it is now (in my book) considered normal.

Have you checked the lens of your inside lights for sawdust yet?

Can someone please tell me where the black tank flush connects to the black tank, and the nature of that connection? Is it just a hose outlet? Some kind of sprayer?

Thanks

It's a sprayer, but as to where it is mounted is anyone's guess. I doubt if any two are in the exact same location as it is very doubtful they use a jig/fixture for location/mounting. When I toured the factory, that was one startling fact I didn't see,(being in mfgr my entire career) was the lack of jigs, fixtures, and locating devices being used. It really amazes me how they do as good a job as they do without these items so common on really assembly line production.

I feel that the gentleman( used loosely) that gave me my walk through my have honestly never been in the rockwood roo 23ss In his life! Just 2 nights ago I went through the rig with a philips screw driver and learned more in 25 minutes on my own then from my walk through. Sad! But you got to love a black water flush!

Not sure how its mounted, but mine runs into the bathroom cabinet, then into the back compartment and then thru the floor. Used it once and it sounds like its a sprayer of some kind. May get a clear elbow just to see how well its working.

We love ours, and not wanting to give the wrong impression, We looked at about every hybrid make and model around here and the Roo/Shamrock appeared to be the best quality. It would not have taken much more effort or cost for a better overall looking product.

My valve is about half way in the middle of the trailer and doesn't have a cable, but a long alum rod to push and pull the valve open. I just slit the underbelly and put a pc of alum inside the slit and sheet metal screwed it shut.
