Me 3. My apologies, too.

Re the OP’s post, the closest I’ve had to that was a family weekend at my step-sister’s place where we had 2 pop-ups and a 5er in their big back yard. Had a great time that weekend.

Too Funny I do that also. We rent a movie set up a fire and me and 2 of my pups will then spend the night across the street int eh camper. Just like when we are kids. Set up the tent in the backyard and sleep in it. FUN FUN FUN. Good time to clean it out also. LOL

We have our own little at-home spot for the camper with water & electricity connections, so it's like our very own state park campsite... stay-cation!

Same here, just next door to you guys, (Nova Scotia), we have a fire pit close to the trailer, we live in the sticks so we can enjoy the starry nights while sitting by the fire, and since we have a 30 amps connection for our 5th wheel, we can pretend we are camping by sleeping in the trailer. I still am right now even though it's getting cold lately.

I though only California was so stupid as to outlaw meet grilling. I still do grill and keep hoping for someone to call Johnny Law on me. I'll fight it all the way to the Supreme Court I tell ya'

I am jealous, wish I could use one of those for my TT.
In our part of Ontario it would collapse by the second snowfall in November!

Missed 2 weekend trips here in North Carolina due to all the flooding.
So we camped in the back yard instead.
Trailer has 30 amp circuit, plus we have a fire pit and the bathroom is close by!
Lot's of fun.
Dog's still hog the bed even in the back yard. Some things don't change.

Got to make due with what's available sometimes.

What to do ! What to do!

We can only get away for short stays, not like when we were younger. With a surviving mother 99, they are few and far between. This spring, we installed our on fire pit/patio just off the pool deck. Click image for larger version

We don't have snow here unless something VERY RARE happens, but we do have hurricanes. This shelter is rated to 110 MPH... I'm pretty sure it would be mangled way before that. We got it primarily to protect the rubber roof from the evil rays of the sun and to preserve (for as long as possible) the exterior finish.

To be honest, we were happy with having just the water and electricity connections!

My brother was prevented from parking his commercial signed truck in his driveway, even though he buried it out of sight of the road (no garage).

He found that he COULD legally park it on the street, in front of the naysayers homes, as long as it was moved periodically. There were some unhappy people in his neighbor hood for a while.
