What Wax to use on Fiberglass Exterior Wall

Looking for a good wax to put in my 2015 Roo which has fiberglass sides of course?

Any suggestions? Liquid or Paste type?

Google a product called REJEX. That's all I use on my Wildcat MAXX and the Corvettes I've owned. Best product I've ever found for fiberglass and metal. Not cheap, but you do get what you pay for!!

I will look at getting some, I would rather spend a bit more on something I know works then fish around for cheap stuff that will do harm 🤔

Just make sure whatever you buy doesn't affect the decals on your RV.

I would recommend a polymer polish as RShleder did above. I have found Blackfire Wet Diamond to be the best and I have tried many over the years. I use it on my vehicles also. It's super easy to use and lasts a long time. You can find it on AutoGeek.com.

Nope...most waxes out there are not safe for decals. A first you won't notice a difference..maybe bot even for a few years, but it will dry them out and then they will start to crack on you.

A previous thread on the same topic recommended the Meguairs Premium Marine wax per Forest River.

Don't put it on the decals and no worry. If you get a small amount on a decal edge while applying simply wipe it off, no big deal!!

When I was at the Tampa RV show in January, I purchased some products from a company called RV by Life. One of the products is called Graphix Wax and is designed specifically for vinyl graphics. It is a cleaner and UV protectant.

RV by Life is a division of Boat Life, a company that has been manufacturing products for boat owners for the past 50 years. They offer a full line of polishes and waxes. RV Wax | Graphix Wax | RV by LIFE

I haven't had a chance to apply any of the products I bought since spring weather seems reluctant to remain in Massachusetts for more than a few days a time.

I've had great results with Shurhold's Pro Polish. Shurhold.com As some of the other recommendations, it is a Marine Polish. No fillers so no powdery dust when wiping it off. No effect on decals. My 2013 Rockwood 8315 BSS looks just like it did when I took delivery, Oct. 2012. Easy to apply. The first time I used it, I got out my power buffer, but found it was easier just to wipe it off with a cloth and didn't have to mess with the power cord.

look at Aero 303. Will not hurt your decals and provides UV and dust protection. Recommended on previous threads here. You can purchase it on Amazon.

Why is it hard on decals, all pinstriping on cars today is the same as the decals they put on RV's. Or graphics on cars and p/u's.

Most decals have a 5 year life span, there are others that last longer, 10 years is LONG for a decal to last.

Wax will make a decal last longer.

The sun is what ruins them.

I wax decals to make them graffiti proof.

I make and sell decals for a living.

The decals on these trailers are laminated that helps them last longer.

Make no mistake the sun ruins your decals.

If you keep your trailer inside your decals will last a long long time

Have you used this in full sun? I don't have a way of putting my trailer in the shade to wax it.

Yes, it works ok in the sun. And you let it dry completely. I do my motorhome in large sections. But in the sun your back gets hot!

We have used REJEX on the TV and also on fiberglass. This stuff is also terrific for doing windshields and boat windshields. It doesn't fog and the rain will just peel off the windshield.
